Post Mortem is carried out on man removed from Blackwater River

Dr Margaret Bolster has carried out a post mortem on the body of the man found in the Blackwater River near Kenmare yesterday. The body of 51 year old Michael Stapleton originally from North Tipperary was removed to Kerry General Hospital yesterday afternoon.He was reported missing on Sunday evening by relatives when he failed to return from a fishing trip. It’s understood he was living in the Kenmare area with his partner and two children. Locals joined with Gardai, The Derrynane Rescue Team and a helicopter in the search.
