Portuguese fishing vessel is towed into Irish port.

A Portuguese fishing vessel is being towed into port after a net got caught in one of the boats propellers. The vessel which has a crew of 32 on bord is being towed in by a tug from foynes.The tug reached the vessel 142 miles south west off the Irish coast this morning after traveling since 2 o clock yesterday afternoon to reach her. The tow which is being monitored by Valentia coastguard began a short time ago. It`s not yet clear which port the 16 hundred tonne fishing vessel will be brought to.
