On the Saturday Supplement this week, Joe McGill looks back at the Moving Bog disaster on December 28th 1896 in which Con and Joanna Donnelly and their children perished when their home was engulfed by a bog movement in Gneeveguilla. One child Kate aged 13 at the time survived as she was visiting her grandmother. Joe looks back at this event. He also hears about the new book "Limerick Snapshots of the Treaty City and Count 1840-1960" by Tom Donovan and Vincent Carmody. It is also the final installment of "Handmade in Kerry; Women in Craft" featuring Jane Gillan Design.
