“Hardworking and Larger Than Life”: Tributes Paid to Victim of Fatal Killarney Accident - January 19th, 2023

Patrick O’Toole from Shangarry in Myshall, Co Carlow was injured following a workplace accident at an Irish Water site in Killarney on Monday. He was brought to Cork University Hospital where he later died. Cllr Charlie Murphy from Myshall knew Patrick well. He says Patrick was well-liked and well-known, a great character. Patrick worked as a haulier and was in his 50s. Cllr Murphy says his family and friends have suffered an unbearable loss.
