Yesterday, the retailer Argos announced that it is to close all its Irish stores. It has two outlets in Kerry, in Tralee and Killarney. Jerry speaks to Caroline Clifford of the Mandate trade union which represents staff. Jerry also speaks to Paddy Kevane who’s Tralee area president of St Vincent de Paul. He says the Argos staff have been extraordinarily generous in their support of the charity’s meals-on-wheels service.
