Plaque unveiled in Castlegregory in honour of district nurse

A plaque dedicated to a district nurse  – who delivered babies from Brandon to Camp over a forty year period – was unveiled in Castlegregory this afternoon. Baby hand Cathaoirleach of the Municipal District of South & West Kerry, Cllr Micheál O’Shea unveiled the plaque to Nora Nano Lynch at a ceremony in Castlegregory Community Centre. The plaque also acknowledges the contribution of district nurses and midwives throughout Kerry down through the years.
