Planning permission is being sough for a waste recycling and civic amenity site in a Tralee industrial estate.
Dillion Waste has applied to Kerry County Council for ten-year permission to develop the facility in the townland of Buntalloon in the Monavalley Industrial Estate.
The planning application says the development will be a waste recycling facility, comprising facilities for accepting skip and glass waste and a civic amenity facility.
The proposed development will include a building for recovering materials measuring over 2,6000 square metres, external storage, weighbridge and new vehicular access.
Planners will decide on the application in the coming months.
