Planning permission is being sought for six wind turbines in north Kerry.
The Ballylongford Windfarm Group has applied to Kerry County Council to build the turbines, which will be up to 126 metres in height, at Aghanagran Middle and Lower, Ballyline West and Tullahennel South, Ballylongford.
The application also seeks permission to upgrade existing access tracks, build new internal roads, an ESB substation and lay underground cables.
Ten-year permission is being sought with an operational period of 25 years.
An Environmental Impact Assessment and Natura Impact Statement have been submitted as part of the application which will be decided on by June 6th.
