Planning permission has been granted this week for the extension of the landfill facility at Muingnaminnane,Tralee. Kerry County Council must meet five conditions as part of the planning agreement. The conditions imposed by An Board Pleanala include the restriction of tree removal and archaeological monitoring. Measures to ensure road safety, public health and re-use of excavated material also apply to the decision to grant planning permission.
