People asked to make views known on Banna bye-laws

People are being asked to make their views known on new bye-laws for Banna Beach.

The draft Casual Trading Bye-Laws for Banna go on display this week, with the closing date for submissions from members of the public the 8th of May.

They’re being updated to reflect an increase in casual trading in recent years and to ensure appropriate regulation.

The main changes are an increase in the number of casual trading bays from four to eight, the provision of a minimum of three spaces for water-related activities and a minimum of three bays for the sale of foods and beverages.
