Patients in Tralee General affected by vomiting bug

14 patients in the long-stay ward at Tralee General are now affected by the winter vomiting bug. Up to five staff members have also contracted the virus. Visitor restrictions are still in place at the hospital because of the outbreak of the virus. Only adults who are next of kin will be allowed to visit the Loher ward. Doctor Bartley Cryan is Consultant Medical Microbiologist with the Southern Health Board.
