Pat Hanifin not in favour of South Doc.

The chairman of the ambulance service in Ireland says he is not in favour of South Doc, claiming the service is there for the benefit of doctors and not patients. Pat Hannifin says 40% of doctors refused to sign up to the organization which provides primary care, out of hour`s services. He adds doctors in England and Northern Ireland disbanded the service after it failed to work there. Pat Hannifin says the service simply isn`t beneficial to patients and increases the workload for ambulance drivers.
