Painting of Dingle peninsula goes under the hammer today in London

A painting of the Dingle peninsula by a Dublin artist is going under the hammer in Britain today.

Paul Henry’s painting of Ferriter’s Cove dates back to the 1930s.

The artwork, which depicts a remote thatch cottage by the seaside, has a guide price of between €140,000 and €210,000 at the Bonham’s auction in London.
