Owner has no plans to sell cabinet said to contain Virgin Mary image

The owner of a cabinet which is said to bear an image of the Virgin Mary says he has no plans to sell it.

Damien Culhane bought the piece of furniture from a Ballyheigue seller on the DoneDeal website.

The pattern of woodgrain on the cabinet door has been likened to an image of the Virgin Mary.

The cabinet’s being used to display records in the Vintage Vendors antique shop in Moyderwell, Tralee which is owned by Tom O’Connell.

Toast said to bear an image of the Virgin once sold on eBay for 28 thousand dollars.

However, Damien says he’s no plans to sell.

Damien and Tom say there’s been huge interest in the cabinet because of its Virgin Mary-like image.
