O’Sullivan says she is still in contention for 4th Ireland South seat

Grace O’Sullivan says she’s still in contention for the 4th Ireland South seat in the European Elections.

Kerry is part of the 12 county Ireland South constituency.

The soon to be Green Party MEP is in a battle for the position with Fine Gael’s Deirdre Clune.

The distribution of Liadh Ní Riada’s votes gets underway this morning, after Sinn Fein’s decision to withdraw their request for a recount yesterday.

In the end, the person with the least votes will take the final 5th seat, but will have to wait until the UK leaves the EU.
