Orange wind warning in issued for 13 counties, including Kerry

Gusts of up to 120 kilometres an hour can be expected from tomorrow morning as Storm Ali hits the west coast.

A status orange wind warning has been issued for 13 counties, including Kerry, with a yellow alert in place for the rest of the country.

Western coastal counties along with Ulster and parts of Leinster are expected to be impacted the most.

Met Eireann forecaster Deirdre Lowe says winds will start to die down around lunchtime tomorrow.
