The Office of Public Works has extended its period of applications for boats seeking permits to go to Sceilig Mhíchíl.
Last year, the OPW introduced a new permit scheme in an attempt to clampdown on out-of-season landings on the UNESCO World Heritage site.
The public competition is for permits to provide passenger access for the 2017 season, which starts mid-May.
Individuals, or a partnership where a boat is jointly owned, who wish to be considered can obtain full details on HeritageIreland.ie or OPW.ie.
The closing date in respect of the competition is 12 noon, Friday March 31st.
