Opening County Football Semi-Finalists To Be Determined Today

The first Garvey’s Supervalu County Senior Football Championship semi-finalists will become known today. There’s a double header in Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney, with the games live on Radio Kerry. The opener at 3 is Kilcummin v South Kerry, followed at 4.30 by Legion against Rahillys. The County Minor Hurling Championship finalists are also to be determined today, with Lixnaw taking on Causeway/Ballyduff in Abbeydorney and St Brendan’s going up against South Kerry at Lewis Road. Both of those are at 1. The County Under 16 Football Championship Final between East Kerry and West Kerry will take place this afternoon. Starting time is 1.30 in Keel. County Senior Football League Division 1 will have Dingle hosting Glenbeigh-Glencar while in Division 2 it’s John Mitchels against Glenflesk. Both of those are at 5. In the Barrett Cup Final St Mary’s face Ballydonoghue in Milltown at 4.45. Listry will host Fossa at 4 today in the East Kerry Aquila Club O’Donoghue Cup. A Fr.Galvin Cup semi-final at 3 will see Cordal home to Scartaglen. The first semi final of the South Kerry Senior Hurling Championship will go ahead this evening as Dr Crokes take on Austin Stacks in Lewis Rd at 6.30. Cromane have won the Trophyworld Tralee Ladies County Under 16 Football League Division 4 Final, beating Abbeydorney 10-4 to 4-8. Kerry’s Dominick Lynch and Jack O’Shea won Handball’s Munster 60×30 Senior Doubles Final, 21-17 21-18 against CJ Fitzpatrick and Evan Murphy.
