O Shea family express dissapointment Minister didn’t meet with them

The family of John O Shea say they are disappointed that Minister McDowell declined to meet with them when in Tralee yesterday. Mr O Shea died outside his home in Castelmaine in October of 2001. At the inquest the cause of death was initially given as hypothermia, a final report by Dr. John harbison recorded an open verdict. The O Shea family claim Minister McDowell has rebuffed their attempts to meet with him. Mr O Shea’s sister in law Chris says they had hoped the Minister could make some time for them while in the county.
