The Sisters of St Clare – commonly known as the Poor Clares – have announced that they will leave Kenmare after 160 years. Jerry speaks to Nora Finnegan of Kenmare Lace. The convent sisters introduced the needlepoint lace cottage industry in Kenmare following the famine. Jerry also speaks to the parish priest of Kenmare, Fr George Hayes.
