Number of students at Dingle CBS refuse to give fingerprints

It`s understood up to 15 students at Dingle CBS School have refused to have their finger prints taken from Gardai in Dingle following a fire at the school. Radio Kerry News understands parents were not happy to have their children`s prints taken. Sergeant Mossie O Donnel says that prints were taken from the majority of the 250 pupils over two weeks ago and that there were a number of students absent that day.It will be up to ten days before test results taken from the 250 students will be known. A number of people have been questioned in relation to the fire which took place on Friday night which destroyed a pre fab used by the Principal. It`s the second fire at the school since Christmas when 250,000 euro worth of damage was done. Meanwhile on Saturday night another prefab was broken into and significant criminal damage was caused. Gardai in Dingle say they believe students are involved in the incidents and say an arrest in imminent.
