North Kerry and West Limerick residents urged to be vigilant of ESB Networks scam

Residents in North Kerry and West Limerick are being urged to be vigilant of an ESB Networks scam.

The network is aware that individuals are fraudulently calling to homes in both areas pretending to be staff from the company.

They are offering to cut trees and are requesting payments for the work.

ESB Networks are asking residents to remain vigilant and to ask for identification.

All ESB Networks staff and contractors are required to carry and display their ESB Networks identification.

The company is also advising people not to admit anyone into their property particularly if they feel in any way uneasy.
