Council crews are advising there will be delays on the N72 as a tree is down in Fossa, just before Killarney town.

There's also a tree down in Fossa near the Castlerosse Park Resort in Killarney, council staff are clearing this.

There are also reports of spot flooding in a number of areas including Moll's Gap.

A spokesperson for the council says it appears Kerry escaped the worst of last night's weather.

Kerry County Council crews will work to remove any debris this morning.
