No confirmed cases of measles in Kerry so far this year

There have been no confirmed cases of measles in Kerry to date this year.

It follows reports of an outbreak of the disease in Dublin, with 13 cases reported in adults and children in Dublin’s north inner city since July.

The HSE says transmission of the disease happened in Dublin hospitals and in homes with poor vaccine uptake.

It’s revealed Kerry has had no cases reported in the county so far this year.
