Nine of the 326 new cases of COVID-19 that were notified to the Health Protection Surveillance Centre this evening are in Kerry.
The 326 new cases were confirmed as of midnight yesterday (Thursday, September 24th).
Of these new cases, 152 are in Dublin, 32 in Cork, 22 in Donegal, 21 in Galway, 15 in Meath, 11 in Kildare, nine in Kerry, eight in both Louth and Westmeath, six each in Limerick, Mayo and Tipperary, five in Wexford with the remaining 25 cases in eight counties.
The full breakdown of cases on a county-by-county basis covers the period up to midnight on Wednesday (September 23rd). This breakdown shows no increase in the number of cases in Kerry, which stands at 371. However, this does not include the additional cases that have been confirmed this evening.
There were no new deaths from COVID-19 in Ireland, the number of people who have died from the virus remains at 1,797.
