The number of new cars registered in Kerry dropped by over 40% in November.
That’s according to figures from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI), which shows 10 cars were registered in the month.
Electric cars were the most popular car registrations, however, the engine type was down over 30% compared to previous year.
80% of the vehicles registered in Kerry in the eleventh month of the year were automatic.
Brian Cooke, Director General of SIMI, says electric car registrations in 2025 have surpassed the previous yearly record.
