The family of Kerry’s newest Olympian says they’re very proud of his achievement.
Farranfore-Maine Valley athlete David Kenny competed in the 20km racewalk, which was his Olympic debut.
In temperatures exceeding 32 degrees Celsius, 22-year-old David finished 29th, well ahead of his world ranking.
