1,408 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre says as of 8am today, 152 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 26 are in ICU.
2% of cases are currently being hospitalised.

Chief Medical Officer, Dr Tony Holohan said the more people vaccinated in this country, the less opportunity COVID-19 has to inflict severe illness and disruption.
He urged those eligible for a COVID-19 vaccination and who have yet to register, to do so as soon as possible.
