101 cattle reported missing or stolen in Kerry in 2021

Over 100 cattle were reported missing or stolen in Kerry last year.

According to the Irish Farmers’ Journal, 1,027 cattle across the country were reported missing or stolen in 2021.

Limerick had the greatest number at over 200, double Kerry’s figure of 101. The Department of Agriculture says the vast majority of cattle stolen or reported missing were not recovered.
