Mayor Ned O Sullivan has launched a new mobile library for the county in Tralee earlier this week. It is the second mobile library for the county, the first was launched in 2001. It will provide services to centres of population not within easy access of a branch library. The new library will visit 30 stops throughout the county on a fortnightly schedule. A service will now be provided to The Spa Road area Tralee, as well as Shanakill/Monavalley. The mobile will also stop at Ballyspillane/Woodlawn area of Killarney where a new satellite branch is planned.
