Following its AGM, held in line with all COVID protocols the KSBGL is delighted to announce that Aidan Murnane is the new League’s Chair.

Following its AGM, held in line with all COVID protocols the KSBGL is delighted to announce that Aidan Murnane is the new League’s Chair.

The Inter Kenmare clubman takes over from Padraig Harnett who finished his three year term at the meeting and according to Rule stepped down. He now takes up the role of Secretary in the only other change to the MC. All the other members of the MC were re-elected unopposed.

The meeting was also attended and addressed by FAI DO Darren Aherne.

The outgoing Chair thanked everyone associated with the League for all their hard work and dedication in the continuing improvement of what we offer to our most important stakeholders - the players,
As well as the Chair snd Secretaries Reports Treasurer David Slattery presented a very comprehensive set of accounts.

A number of important items were raised and it was agreed that these would go back to the MC and/or the next Delegate Meeting for further discussion.

The meeting began with the traditional and poignant Minutes Silence for all those who have passed away in the previous 3 months.

The outgoing Chair also acknowledged the work being done by front line workers who have connections with the League. A night to celebrate those that were nominated earlier in the year is being worked on.

A Minutes Silence was also observed at the start of the meeting for all those with a connection to the League and soccer in Kerry who passed away during the year.
