The company that runs the NCT says it is reviewing its customer waiting experience during the pandemic.
Applus says to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure social distancing, it has to limit the number of people allowed into customer waiting areas and some may have to wait outside.
It is urging people to wear correct clothing for weather conditions and says it is distributing disposable rain coverings to customers, if necessary.
New lighting has been installed outside Kerry test centres and where possible seating has been placed outdoors.
Applus says staff will try to ensure vulnerable customers are seated inside when possible.
