Motorists advised to exercise caution following road slippage on R569

Kerry County Council are advising motorists to drive with caution on the R569 Kilgarvan Road, following road slippage near the Loo Bridge.

The Council says the road is passable with care, and remains open.

Kerry Fire Service are at the scene to assess damage.

Elsewhere, a small bridge has collapsed along Coom Road near Morley’s Bridge and the road is closed.

The Inchees Road at the Top of Coom was closed this morning but has since reopened to traffic.
