That leaves the four time Major winner, who went into the round third on the leaderboard, in a tie for 22nd, 3-over all round and 7 shots off leader Patrick Reed.
Shane Lowry just made the cut on 6-over while Graeme McDowell didn't make the weekend, finishing up on 10-over.
