More effective marketing suggested to attract young workers to Kerry firms

The CEO of one of Kerry largest firms says Kerry needs to market itself more effectively in terms of getting young people to work in the county. Fexco sign Denis McCarthy was appointed CEO of Fexco in Killorglin in January. Denis’s father Brian founded Fexco in 1981, initially to service the local tourist market in Kerry. It’s now the world’s biggest provider of dynamic currency conversion services and employs close to 2,000 people. He says there is a lot of hype around Dublin based companies like Facebook and Google, and Kerry needs to market itself better to young workers:
