Minister predicts tourist growth from trans-atlantic flights

Tourism Minister John O`Donoghue is predicting a growth in visitor numbers to this county if more trans-atlantic flights come into Shannon. Under the bi-lateral agreement with the United States, Aer Lingus has access to six cities and the stopover remains in place. This could change if the agreement is renegotiated. Minister O`Donoghue says there’s an opportunity for the Kerry market to take advantage if this happens.
