Minister intervenes in Euro South candidates row

Minister John O Donohue has been forced to intervene in a row between the two euro south candidates for FF Gerry Collins and Brian Crowley. As director of elections the Minister must ensure boundary divisions are upheld. However there have been repeated breaches of the constituency divide and Minister O Donohue has been forced to intervene in the row.Party councillors and TD`s who have appeared on platforms with Brian Crowley in Kerry have been reprimanded by the Minister. Mr Crowley has been told to stay in the east of the constituency but has canvassed Kerry and Limerick on a number of occasions. It`s reported that Minister O Donohue has been in contact with party members pictured in the local media with Brian Crowley in Kerry.
