Minister expects no delay in finding tenant for Tralee Advance Technology Building

The Jobs Minister expects there’ll be no delay in finding a tenant for the IDA’s Advance Technology Building in Tralee.

The development at Kerry Technology Park began last August, and is expected to be completed in May or June.

The IDA says the availability of these high-quality property solutions is key to winning Foreign Direct Investment.

There are fears the new building will lie idle as there’s no tenant earmarked for it yet, but speaking at the announcement of new jobs at BorgWarner in Tralee yesterday, CEO of IDA Ireland Martin Shanahan said his agency is working to attract companies.

Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Mary Mitchell O’Connor believes Tralee’s Advance Technology Building won’t be a white elephant.
