MEP Kelly says Mercosur deal must be approached with caution

An Ireland South MEP says newly-elected European Parliament members won’t be rushed into a trade deal with South America.
Irish farming organisations have voiced their concern that the proposed Mercosur deal could flood the European market with cheap beef.
Sean Kelly from Kilcummin is the only Irish representative on the International Trade Committee.
He says this deal comes at a time of great uncertainty for the future of Irish beef exports to Britain.
