Men questioned in relation to assault on wedding party in Tralee released

Four men being questioned in connection with an assault on a wedding party in Tralee have been released without charge. The group were arrested by Kerry Gardai in Limerick yesterday. garda badge Last July, a family celebrating a recent wedding were leaving a pub in Pembroke Street Tralee, when they were set upon by a number of men. Five people were hospitalised following the incident, including the bride who suffered facial injuries. Yesterday Kerry Gardai investigating the incident arrested  three men in their 20s and a man in his 60’s all believed to be from Limerick City. The group were being held at Henry Street Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act. Gardai have confirmed all of the men have now been released without charge. A file is to be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
