Men charged with possessing over €13,000 of drugs

Two Polish men charged in connection with a drugs haul at Barrow and Fenit have been further charged with drug offences. Tralee Courthouse1 Lukasz Duleba of 2a Lighthouse Village, Fenit, and Rafal Fiszer of 20 Academy Street, Navan, Co Meath, are charged with having more than €13,000 worth of cannabis in their possession for sale or supply on November 8th last. Both were remanded in custody to appear before Tralee District Court again on July 22nd. 36-year-old Lukasz Duleba is charged with the offence at Lighthouse Village on November 8th last. His co-accused, 34-year-old Rafal Fiszer, is charged with the same offence at that address and at Barrow House, Barrow West, Ardfert, also on November 8th. They made no reply to the charges. Both men were previously charged with drugs offences relating to a drugs haul when gardai discovered two cannabis growhouses at 2A Lighthouse Village and at Barrow House, Barrow West, Ardfert. The court previously heard that cannabis plants with a combined estimated street value of €200,000 were seized at both premises. A number of people have already appeared before the courts in relation to the matter. Inspector Donal Ashe told Tralee District Court that a “comprehensive” book of evidence is being prepared. Judge James O’Connor remanded Mr Fiszer in custody and Mr Duleba was remanded in custody with consent to bail to appear before the court again on July 22.
