Mayo Squad’s No Confidence Vote In Joint Managers

It’s reported that the Mayo squad have held a vote on the current management team’s competence to do the job. The vote was held just over a week ago and came out against the joint management team of Noel Connelly and Pat Holmes. According to Midlands 103 radio the former Clare footballer, who won an All Ireland club title with Portlaoise as a player and 4 county titles as a manager, will take the reins for 2016. On the hurling front it seems certain Seamus Cheddar Plunkett will remain as Laois manager.
