Maura Murphy née Tuohy, Killowen, Kenmare.
Maura passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the Dr Hilda Crushell, Matron, nurses and staff of Kenmare Community Nursing Unit. Beloved wife of the late Tony and adored mother of Eilís, Áine, Antoinette, Eimear and Orla. Sister of the late Eamonn, Denis, Noel and Nancy (Shanahan).
Maura will be sadly missed by her loving family, her sisters, Margaret (Duffy), Frances (Kennedy) and Joan (Healy), her sisters- in-law, Ellen (McGlinchey), Agnes (Greene) and Liz Murphy, her daughter-in-law, Loretta, her sons-in-law, Colm, Mark and Ed, her precious grandchildren, her wonderful carer Lucy Asilo, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours, past pupils and her large circle of friends. In keeping with Government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings – with only 10 people present in Church - a private family funeral will take place for Maura.
Requiem Mass on Saturday (January 16th) at 11am in Holy Cross Church, Kenmare which will be livestreamed on www.kenmareparish.com - Mass (livestreaming)- followed by burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Kenmare.
