Match Details Revealed For County & Club Football and Hurling Championship Matches

Match details have been confirmed for forthcoming County and Club Hurling and Football Championship matches in the various grades in Kerry. The opening Garvey’s Supervalu County Senior Football Championship semi-final is to be played on Sunday next in Killarney. Legion will face Rathmore in Fitzgerald Stadium at 3.30 as part of a double header with the Castleisland Mart intermediate Club Football Final. St.Mary’s against Spa is to throw-in at 2. The second Garvey’s Supervalu County Senior Football Championship semi-final between South Kerry and Kenmare has been fixed for Sunday October 25th in Killarney. Starting time for that one is yet to be confirmed. The first Junior Club semi-final at 4 on Saturday pits Beaufort against Glenbeigh/Glencar in Killorglin while Templenoe take on Firies in Beaufort at 1 on Sunday. The Novice semi-finals are on 2 on Sunday; Asdee versus St Senans in Finuge & Lispole against Ballydonoghue in Strand Road. The opening Novice Shield semi-final is at 2.3 Sunday, between Moyvane and Fossa at Mitchels. In an Under 21 Shield semi-final, Stacks play Ballydonoghue at 4 on Saturday October 24th. The County Minor Football semi-finals will be played as a double header on Saturday October 24th at Mitchels; Mid Kerry v Crokes at 2, followed at 3.30 by Shannon Rangers against Dingle. An Intermediate Relegation Play-Off on Sunday October 25th at 2 has Glenflesk meeting Emmets in Strand Road. 6 days later at 3, with venues to be confirmed, it’s Brosna v Keel & Annascaul against Gneeveguilla. The County Minor Hurling Championship Final goes ahead this Sunday at 1 in Kilmoyley between Lixnaw and St Brendans. The Intermediate Final, also on Sunday, takes place in Abbeydorney at 3 between Dr Crokes and Kilmoyley. The Junior Hurling Final is also down for decision on Sunday, at 1.30 in Lixnaw, featuring Duagh and Stacks. The County Under 21 Hurling Championship semi-finals will be played at 3 on Saturday October 24th at venue to be confirmed; O’Dorney /Ballyheigue v St Brendans & South Kerry v Causeway. In County Senior Hurling League Division 1 the semi-finals are fixed for Saturday October 31st at 3, with Kilmoyley home to St Brendans & Causeway hosting Abbeydorney.
