Mary Lyons née O’Rourke

Mary Lyons Nee O’Rourke, Castlematrix, Rathkeale, Co.Limerick and late of Ahabeg, Lixnaw.  Also known as ‘Cheddar’ the CIE school bus driver.

Died peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on September 15th 2020.
Predeceased by her late husband Jack.

Deeply regretted by her sons Tom, John, Noel, daughters Mary, Josie Hayes and Margaret Hennessy, brother Willie, sister in law, sons and daughters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rest in peace.

Funeral cortege leaving her home at 11a.m. on Thursday 17th September for Requiem Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Rathkeale at 11:30a.m. In line with HSE guidelines people can pay their respects on route observing social distancing. Funeral afterwards to Shannon Crematorium at 3p.m.
