Man doing doughnuts on Kerry road disqualified from driving

A Kildare man who was caught by Gardai doing numerous doughnuts on a public road in south Kerry has been disqualified from driving for two years.

He is among a group for twelve men charged with dangerous driving following the Rally of the Lakes in Killarney.

24-year-old Dylan Roche of Allenwood Middle, Naas, Co. Kildare, who has no previous convictions, pleaded guilty to a single charge of dangerous driving at Derrynafunsha, Blackwater, Kenmare on May 5th last.

Killarney District Court heard Mr Roche is a self-employed courier and accepted what he did was wrong.

Judge David Waters fined Mr Roche €250 and disqualified him from driving for two years.
