A man has died after falling in Listowel. The incident happened at around 10.30 last night in Market Street. It’s understood, the man who was in his sixties and who was from the Listowel area, fell on paving in Market Street in the town. Gardaí say they understand an ambulance attended the scene. The man was taken to Kerry General Hospital but it’s not clear when he died. Foul play is not suspected and gardaí are treating the incident as a tragic accident. They are investigating the man’s death under the Coroner’s Act. Listowel gardaí have offered their condolences to the man’s family.
