The Carrick-on-Suir rider is wearing the green jersey after his win on stage 10 yesterday.

He has a 21 point lead over Peter Sagan in the battle for the green jersey.

The riders have just passed the 10 kilometre mark of the 170 kilometre flat stage.

West Brom have signed Republic of Ireland international Callum Robinson on a five-year contract.

The striker spent the second half of last season on-loan at the Hawthorns from Sheffield United.

Oliver Burke moves the other way in the exchange deal.

Robinson - who came off the bench in Ireland's defeat to Finland last Sunday - scored three goals in 16 Championship appearances for the Baggies in that loan spell.

Aston Villa have broken their transfer record to sign Ollie Watkins from Brentford on a five-year deal.

It's understood the Premier League club are to pay an initial 30 million euro fee for Watkins which could rise to 36 million euro in add-ons.

The striker scored 26 times in the Championship for the west London club last season and he played under Dean Smith when the Villa boss was in charge of Brentford.
