Roger Federer has reached the final of the Australian Open for the seventh time.
The defending champion remains on course for his 20th Grand Slam title after Hyeon Chung withdrew from their semi final due to injury.
Federer won the opening set by 6 games to 1 in just 33 minutes.
He was leading by 4-1 in the second when Chung called for treatment on blisters.
The Korean returned to the court to play a further two games before deciding he was unable to continue.
Federer will now face sixth seed Marin Cilic in Sunday’s final.
He beat Cilic to win the Wimbledon title last year.
