Locals in a North Kerry village say it’s lucky no one was injured when a bridge wall subsided.

Yesterday evening, a section of the wall on Kilflynn bridge collapsed, after heavy and prolonged rain.

The Chairperson of Kilflynn Community Together, Michael Brady, says all are thankful there was no one injured.

He adds the alarm was raised by locals who first noticed the collapsed section last evening.
